Visit Leh Palace, Shanti Stupa and the historic lanes of Leh. Continue through the Sham Valley to Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Magnetic Hill and the Indus–Zanskar confluence. Return to Leh and prepare for the high-altitude lake route.

Leh to Pangong Lake via Chang La
Drive to Pangong Lake via Chang La. The route crosses stark high-altitude landscapes and the Changthang region before reaching the lake. Spend the evening by Pangong and enjoy its changing colours under the mountain backdrop.

Pangong to Hanle via Changthang
Travel towards Hanle through the remote Changthang plateau, subject to permits, road and weather conditions. The journey is about vast open landscapes, nomadic-region scenery and very little urban development. Reach Hanle and settle in for a peaceful evening beneath the high-altitude sky.

Hanle to Leh
Explore Hanle and the surrounding landscape before driving back towards Leh. The route offers long stretches of dramatic mountain scenery and high-altitude plains. Arrive in Leh by evening for a comfortable final night.

Transfer to Leh airport for your onward flight. If your departure is later in the day, limited local shopping or a relaxed breakfast can be planned. Tour concludes after the remote Hanle experience.
