Arrival & Acclimatization
Arrive in Leh and transfer to the hotel. The entire day is reserved for acclimatization, rest and hydration. Keep activity minimal and allow your body to adjust before the long circuit begins.

Leh Palace, Stupa & Monasteries
Visit Leh Palace and Shanti Stupa, followed by Thiksey Monastery and Shey Palace. These sites introduce Ladakh's royal and Buddhist heritage without requiring a long mountain drive. Return to Leh for a relaxed evening.

Sham Valley & Lamayuru
Explore the Sham Valley with Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Magnetic Hill and the Indus–Zanskar confluence. Continue towards Lamayuru to see its dramatic moonland terrain and ancient monastery if road and timing permit. Return to Leh or stay as planned for the next day's Nubra drive.

Leh to Nubra via Khardung La
Cross Khardung La and descend into Nubra Valley. Visit Diskit Monastery and Hunder before checking in. The day combines one of Ladakh's iconic passes with the valley's striking desert-and-oasis landscape.

Nubra – Hunder – Turtuk
Travel to Turtuk and explore the village's Balti culture, traditional architecture and orchards. Return through Nubra with time for Hunder's sand dunes and surrounding mountain views. Keep the evening relaxed.

Nubra to Pangong via Shyok
Take the scenic Shyok route to Pangong Lake. The remote road follows dramatic river valleys before opening towards the lake basin. Check in and enjoy sunset views if timing permits.

Pangong Lake Exploration
Spend a full morning around Pangong Lake, allowing time for photography and quiet lakeside exploration. The extra day prevents the experience from becoming rushed. Enjoy the evening in the Pangong region.

Pangong to Hanle
Drive from Pangong towards Hanle through the Changthang plateau. This is a remote and highly scenic sector with vast plains and rugged mountains. Reach Hanle and enjoy a peaceful evening under the high-altitude sky.

Hanle to Tso Moriri
Continue from Hanle towards Tso Moriri through remote high-altitude terrain, subject to road and permit conditions. The route is long but rewards travellers with open landscapes and very little urban development. Reach Tso Moriri and rest.

Tso Moriri to Leh & Departure
Enjoy the morning beside Tso Moriri before beginning the return drive to Leh. Stop at suitable viewpoints and arrive in Leh for your onward flight or final night depending on timing. This completes the extended Ladakh circuit.
