Arrival in Leh & Acclimatization
Arrive in Leh and transfer to your hotel. Keep the day for acclimatization with plenty of rest and fluids, avoiding strenuous sightseeing. A short evening visit around Leh market can be planned only if you feel comfortable at altitude.

Leh Sightseeing & Indus Valley
Visit Leh Palace, Shanti Stupa and the old town area before exploring the Indus Valley. Continue to Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Magnetic Hill and the Indus–Zanskar confluence. The day combines heritage, culture and easy sightseeing while allowing further acclimatization.

Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung La
Drive to Nubra Valley over Khardung La, one of the most famous high passes of the region. Descend into Nubra's contrasting landscape of sand dunes, green villages and rugged mountains. Visit Diskit Monastery and the nearby valley before checking in at your camp or hotel.

Nubra Valley & Turtuk Excursion
Explore the villages of Hunder and Turtuk, enjoying the distinctive Balti culture and orchards of the Shyok valley. Visit the local settlement areas and take time for the desert-like landscape around Hunder. Return to your Nubra stay for a relaxed evening.

Nubra to Pangong Lake via Shyok
Travel from Nubra towards Pangong through the scenic Shyok route, subject to road and weather conditions. The landscape gradually changes from valley greenery to the stark high-altitude terrain around Pangong. Reach the lake, check in and enjoy sunset views along the shoreline.

Pangong Lake to Leh & Departure
Spend the morning beside Pangong Lake before returning to Leh. En route, cross the high mountain terrain again and arrive in time for your onward flight or final hotel stay depending on departure timing. This completes the classic Nubra–Pangong circuit.
